Joining the early-access list

We store the email you submit in our Convex backend to contact you about RideBuddies early access. Resend sends the confirmation and processes delivery information. Your email is not published or included in website analytics.

To ask for removal from the list, email hello@ridebuddies.app.

Website analytics and replay

We use PostHog to count page visits, button and link clicks, and early-access form attempts, successes and failures. Analytics events include a known page path, basic browser and device information, temporary random identifiers and fixed error categories. They exclude email addresses, form text and raw query strings.

Session replay helps us understand how visitors use the public pages through recorded page layout, scrolling and interactions. Inputs are masked and the entire early-access form is blocked from recordings. Console logging and network-body recording are disabled. This does not record the mobile app or your ride locations.

Person profiles and persistent analytics cookies or storage are disabled. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Identifiers remain in memory and reset on a full page reload, so counts are not reliable measures of unique people across visits.

PostHog receives requests on its US ingestion endpoint. Network requests necessarily expose connection information such as your IP address to the receiving service; disabling geolocation enrichment is not a promise of complete anonymity.

Hosting and service logs

Cloudflare hosts the website. Hosting and email services can process technical information needed to serve requests, prevent abuse and deliver messages. We do not use this website to collect your live location.
